Hatiwal is a local marketplace for Afghanistan. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We do not sell your data, and there is no online payment or advertising tracking.
Information we collect
Account details you provide (name, email, phone); your listings and the photos you upload; your approximate location when you set it on a listing or filter by nearby items; and the messages you send to other users.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: show your listings to buyers, let you and other users chat and arrange in-person meetups, and keep the service safe.
What others see
Your name, photo, listings and messages are visible to the people you interact with, as part of using a marketplace. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
Keeping and deleting your data
You can delete your account anytime from Profile → Delete account. Your account is hidden immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days — log back in within 30 days to restore it. After that your personal information is removed; messages you sent are kept but shown as “Deleted user” so other people keep their conversation history.
Your choices
You control location, photo and notification permissions from your device settings, and can edit or remove your listings and account at any time.
